Q & A about the Boardman River Dams Project
At the inception of the Boardman River Dams Committee (BRDC) project, members of the BRDC were asked to generate a list of questions which drove the process of examination of the options for the fate of the four dams. These "One Hundred Questions" defined the focus of the Engineering and Feasibility Study (EFS), which will be completed at the end of October 2008.
Not surprisingly, other questions have been raised in the interim period. Most of these questions have been answered as part of the process and the answers can be found in the meeting minutes or as part of the EFS (e.g., reports). Some of the questions are more rhetorical and, while thought-provoking, are not factually answerable, while others have yet to be addressed. The BRDC process would not be complete without honest efforts made to provide answers to this last category. This forum is an attempt to accomplish this task.
