Focus Group Meetings Announced
A series of focus group meetings have been scheduled to discuss and plan the work of the Boardman River Dams Committee.
Everyone is invited to attend one of the meetings, listed below, to discuss the progress to date of the Boardman River Dams Committee, the processes of, and the direction for the Committee as the work of the Engineering and Feasibility Study begins.
The Boardman River Dams Committee (BRDC) is charged with making a recommendation regarding the fate of the dams on the Boardman River. Members of the BRDC include riverfront and pond property owners, business owners within the watershed, members of conservation organizations and local units of government, recreational users of the Boardman River and other interested parties. Anyone interested in this historic decision and/or the public process used to make a recommendation to the owners of the dams is welcome to attend.
