The Boardman River Dams Committee issued the Request for Qualifications: Engineering and Feasibility Study in February 2006 to determine the interest, experience and capacities of organizations to complete an engineering and feasibility study concerning the fate of four dams on the Boardman River near Traverse City, and within Grand Traverse County, Michigan. The RFQ Review Team was charged with evaluating the 12 proposals submitted in response to the RFQ, and recommending 3 Consultant Teams to be interviewed, along with providing criteria for their recommendations.
